Vice-chair
Appointed by the city council as Vice-chair of the CFPM in June 2017, Micheline Van-Erum worked as an attorney at Justice Canada for over 30 years and was the Assistant Deputy Attorney General between 2010 and 2016. Now retired, her career brought her to act as a member of many important committees at the Department of Justice and the Canada Revenue Agency. She was also elected to the Board of Governors of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
Ms. Van-Erum is the recipient of the 2015 John Tait Award of Excellence. The award is presented each year to a public sector lawyer who has achieved the highest standards of professional conduct and competence, and exemplifies preeminent public service.
